Speciality matcha

Our matcha is exclusively sourced from Japan's most accomplished farmers and tea masters across Japan including the renowned regions of Uji, Kyoto, Aichi, Shizuoka and Yame

 

Traceable, raw tencha leaves are carefully selected from small well-established plantations. Each using their own unique combination of heritage and contemporary techniques to achieve a surprising diversity of flavours.

 

Our matcha is stone-ground in micro-batches and frequently air-freighted directly to us ensuring that we stock the freshest possible product.

Spring favourite

Grown on picturesque rolling hills facing Ōmura Bay, the tea plants have a constant, steady flow of cool air as they grow. This slows growth and results in a beautiful matcha with low bitterness, floral high notes and delicate silky texture.

Our classic, daily matcha, IKIGAI has a strong, multi-layered flavour profile, unique to the UJI region. 

Serving suggestion: This is our favourite option for iced latte. Try it with coconut milk.

Hojicha

Roasted and ground green tea

Hojicha is roasted green tea. Leaves slowly transformed under heat into something rich, smooth, and distinctly Japanese. Each batches distinct character is shaped by temperature, careful timing, and the skill of the roaster. From nutty, light roast, milk chocolatey medium roast and rich, coffee-like dark roast.
